I was referred to Sunshine Psychiatry through my health insurance. My inicial appointment was in person with an ARNP in the Fort Myers office. After that initial appointment, I was referred to schedule an appointment with Dr. Monroy. I was hesitant to consult with him, first, because he is a male and then, hesitant because this was my only to possibly learn how to live a happy and productive life. Even though Dr. Monroy has helped me a lot during the past year, and he has gradually being able to get me out of a very dark places, “I know that I still have a long way to go”.
